Identifying Foods that Work For You

Keeping a food diary can really help with understanding what foods work well for you, and which ones may not be working so well. Tracking energy levels, mood and other symptoms post various meals can provide great insight into how we respond to different foods.

Did you have a sandwich for lunch and almost got in a barney with Bob from finance over a small data error? This may indicate that something in the sandwich is not the right option for you and maybe it’s not Bob, especially if it happens three days in a row!

Did you have a fish and salad dinner a couple of nights and slept like a baby? There’s something in that meal that needs to be a regular in your diet.

Did you eat a burger and have gut pain that evening with an uncomfortable trip to the toilet? Probably a good one to steer clear of in future.

Tracking and reflecting on how we feel, and how our body responds to different foods is really important.
