Welcome back to day two, it’s great to see that you are so keen to improve your health and wellbeing. 

 

This week we are going talk about sleep and why it is so important. Surely surviving on just five hours a night is preferable to needing eight, that’s a possible three extra hours in your day…now that is where you are very wrong. Sleep is our superpower. It has so many benefits for our health, happiness, safety and success. But we don’t value sleep. We are taught the importance of healthy eating and exercise from an early age, but no-one ever mentions why sleep is important. Or indeed how to get better sleep.

 

Have a look at the video ‘Serious about sleep’ today and see how many of the good sleep tips you can tick off today, we will work on these together over the next eight weeks too. Tomorrow we’ll learn a little more about the impact of poor sleep. Sleep tight!
