Secret to Health

Once the truth is revealed, the path is clear.
People always ask, “What is the trick to becoming healthy?” There is a simple answer which is eating correctly and exercise.
It is really that simple. There is no trick at all. What could be more elementary than eat right and exercise, If it was really that simple then why do so many different “experts” have so many different answers. On top of all the so called “experts” you have 100s of TV commercials and programs telling you the have the next scientifically proven trick to a healthier lifestyle. There are workout videos, fitness magazines, and hundreds of books all claiming to have the magic trick to health and wellbeing. Could the all be correct? Well the answer in most cases is NO!!
Most of them are going to be full of half baked exercise and nutrition theories that are creating uncertainty and confusion.

- There is no 10 second 30 second or 60 second abs
- 12 weeks won’t give you the body you always dreamed of
- Ab crunches are not the best for your abs
- You will not burn more fat from your love handles
- That shake is not going to be the best thing that ever happened to you
Eat correctly and exercise. It really is that simple. Once you have got your head around that then you will realise how easy it is to maintain good Health and Wellbeing.

Your Body Needs More WATER Than it is Telling You
A Healthy body should be around 60% water. Water is a major transport mechanism for the nutrients consumed from food and serves an important role in cellular activity. If you do not have sufficient water then your bodies ability to transport key nutrient throughout the body is compromised. The body becomes sluggish, strength is decreased and there is a build up of ammonia, urea, uric acid and plenty of other junk that you don’t want building up too much within the body.
Water is more important to the body than anything else and is incredibly important for proper functioning. You need it constantly.

If you Exercise it matters even more what you eat.
How many times have you heard someone say that they went for a run so it doesn’t matter if they have a bit of cake or have some take away. What is common is that physically active people (and many health professionals) are overlooking the fact that when you are physically active you need more nutrients than when sedentary.

Without optimal levels of nutrients that your body requires, you are not going to get the results you are looking for. During a workout you will not be giving the best effort, you will not recover properly and ultimately you will not adapt the way you want or gain the result you are after. You are exercising because you are after a positive result not just because you have nothing else to do.

The bottom line is that if you don’t give your body the correct type and amount of nutrients then the system is not going to improve the way you intended it to. Optimal nutrition is just as important as exercise. By eating correctly when you exercise you will be one step closer to achieving the level of Health and Wellbeing you deserve.
